| Bio: | Diagnosed with breast cancer 12/22/2004; hopefully I will find other things to write about, but that is the main focus of this journal.
Update: declared cancer free September 2005 and was eagerly awaiting reconstructive surgery in Sept 2006, only to have spots show up on a CT scan of my lungs. 6 weeks later the lesions have grown & multiplied, so chemo started 9/8/06.
Update: cancer metastasized to the freakin' BRAIN April 2007; two weeks of "whole brain" radiation, and the 8 lesions in my head have shrunk, but possibility left me with a pemanent gray/minor blind spot in my vision that makes me unable to drive. Additionally, the most recent CT scan shows a "mixed response" so I'm going on the Foslomax shot to block the hormone receptors in my cancer to change "mixed" to "shrinking.
I've also completely embraced the macrobiotic diet, and believe it will save my life in conjunction with Foslomax shot.
